Located in Vault de Lugny, a little Burgundian village, 10 km from Vezelay, the Chateau de Vault-de-Lugny is a historic 16th century dungeon and chateau converted in 1986 into an inviting family run country house hotel. Surrounded by green grounds, the hotel offers luxurious accommodation in the relaxing atmosphere, in the area of outstanding natural beauty.

Vault-de-Lugny enjoys an idyllic setting in its own 100-acre grounds and is a fine base to explore the serene and the highly celebrated medieval village of Vezelay with its 11th century Romanesque Basilica.

The chateau offers 14 luxurious rooms and suites decorated with tapestry, fine antiques, beamed ceillings, French windows, and wooden furniturebeautiful view of the medieval tower, the front lawns of the Chateau, or the gardens from the rooms located on the higher floors. Rooms are provided with a private bathroom with complimentary toileteries, hairdryer, mini-bar, direct dial telephone, safe and satellite TV. Please note that the hotel has no lift and no air conditioning.
