Created by the unification of several mansions, erected between the 14th and the 18th centuries, the Le Cep hotel is a registered historic monument full of ancient furniture, woodwork, sculptures and decorations, often with alchemic symbols. The mansions, once owned by prominent Beaune families, were build a few steps from the famous Hospices de Beaune, and in the past a prominent guests preferred to stay there instead of in hospices.

The 16th century courtyard with gallery inspired by the Italian Renaissance and Gothic leads to a tower with a panoramic view of the town's rooftops and spires, and the famous Hospices de Beaune. In the same courtyard stands a tower with a stone staircase leading up to the different floors of the building and ends at the top in a dovecote.

The hotel features 64 rooms, each named after on the great wines of Burgundy, decorated with collectible antiques, rich fabrics, and stylish furniture creating an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom with a bath or shower, air conditioning cable TV, mini-bar, safe, and hair dryer. Spacious superior rooms are located in the heart of 14-15th century mansion. Some of the new suites overlook the mansion's interior courtyard.
